Our go-to place for stunning floral arrangements! Their flowers have never disappointed, they do a fantastic job! Everyone is so helpful & friendly, the whole experience has always been outstanding. The store is lovely, and has a good selection of house plants, as well as decor, etc. Definitely on the pricey end, but fun to browse.
I'm a Donegal school bus driver for a group of incredible kids. I walked into Floral Designs on Valentine's Day morning asking for 12 long stem roses (individually wrapped). I needed a small card attached to each one. They were incredibly busy but they were so well staffed I only waited a minute or two. Danielle greeted me with a warm smile and took my order. I told her what I needed and when I needed to pick them up.
I came back a few hours later. They were still busy but I got in and out quickly. The roses were simply beautiful and the cards were attached just the way I wanted them. Outstanding!

Happy Valentines Day! Me being the procrastinator that I am, I called today at 9:30 am to have Valentine's flowers delivered to my mother. I honestly didn't have high hopes but I figured I would take a chance. I was told that they could do it but wouldn't be able to verify a time because of how busy they were. Which I was fine with. They even called me back to confirm some details.
At 2:15 pm I received a call from my mom completely overjoyed with her bouquet. Her exact words were "They (Floral Designs) have outdone themselves." and then a description of her beautiful creation. That was the best review they could have gotten. As busy as I am sure they were, they still managed to Out do themselves.

If you're getting married anywhere near the Mount Joy/Lancaster area, this is the best choice for flowers! Jill and her team did an amazing job providing flowers for our wedding. We met with Jill in person to go over our needs and what flowers were in-season for our ceremony. As you can tell from the photos, she has a great eye for design and creating beautiful florals! We were very happy with how everything turned out and highly recommend them - just go visit their amazing store and see for yourself!
Jill from Floral Designs of Mount Joy brought her floral creations to our son’s wedding at Cameron Estate this past Friday. What a beautiful selection of flowers and greens was used to decorate the ballroom! We were overwhelmed by the colorful arrangements. Truly beautiful.. we highly recommend this florist!

The following is my opinion; I'm not a florist by trade nor do I purchase flowers on a regular basis, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. However, I would encourage husbands and/or spouses in general to avoid purchasing flowers, particularly roses, from this place. It may be smart to take your business elsewhere, in fact.
I purchased a dozen white roses for my wife (today is our 10 year wedding anniversary) along with six calla lilies incorporated into the arrangement. I called the day prior and was told they'd be ready tomorrow morning. The total cost was nearly $90.00.
When I picked them up, I was pretty disappointed. The roses were tiny, none of them bloomed. They looked like white buds. White tiny buds in a sea of greenery meant to make the arrangement seem full.
I brought my concern up to florist(s) and was told that the arrangement looked fine and I was wrong, that the better roses are sold during the start of the work week, and that their supplier sent them "the smaller roses instead of the normal ones" and "we're at the mercy of our supplier". Not one of these seemingly foreseeable problems were mentioned during the phone call the day prior when I spoke with the florist and placed the order for purchase.
This arrangement was meant to emulate my wife's bouquet she had during our wedding - so this review should serve was a caution for couple's planning their wedding as well. If these flowers were given to my wife during her special day, she'd probably cry.
My recommendation is to avoid spending nearly $90.00 like I did and to take your business elsewhere. Had I simply grabbed flowers from the Giant down the street, I'd have better looking roses and sparred myself the expense. I believe supermarket flowers go for $16.99 and I promise you they'll probably look healthier, bigger, and better, then the flowers I received from Floral Designs of Mount Joy.
Again, this is simply my opinion. I'm just a normal guy who just wanted to purchase nice flowers for my wife. I didn't have a positive experience at this store, and I suspect you won't as well.

This is such a beautiful flower shop. It is absolutely the best shop I have been in. Yes, that is a pond indoors with Koi. We have them make arrangements for us although they have some already made. The staff are super nice and we think reasonably priced. If you are looking for a floral arrangement in their area, this is the place to go.
I cannot describe how perfect our wedding flowers were from Jill and her team!! Absolutely gorgeous quality and impeccable service. Don’t go anywhere else for wedding flowers. Our guests can’t stop talking about our flowers!! Pleasure to work with. Thank you so so much!!

I was asked a few questions about my preferences, the theme I was going for, and my budget.
The end result, while slightly more expensive than the initial estimate (but still within the budget I approved), was excellent. The flowers were in perfect condition, the arrangement did an excellent job of presenting the beauty of each plant, and it was expertly packaged for me to transport it home.
Now that I've ordered from them, I might consider ordering through the website if I was looking for just a random high quality bouquet.

Without a doubt, the most beautiful florist facility I have ever frequented. Yes, that is a koi pond. Further, the folks working there were incredibly helpful and gave us an outstanding arrangement. If you are in the area, I would recommend them for your floral needs.

Jill and her staff were an absolute blessing to us for our mothers funeral florals. They are absolutely wonderful to work with and we received so many compliments on the flowers. Everyone was blown away. Even my event planner cousin from NYC. But more than that, they made my dreams come true and allowed us to show everyone how special we felt our mom was. We are beyond grateful and it was the greatest gift of all of this to have such beauty surrounding her service. Everything was so perfect and I just cant say enough how grateful I am and how much we could all feel the love, care and inspiration in their creations for us. I wish I could say more. I was floored when they delivered my floral arrangement, ordered from a friend for my birthday. Spectacular arrangement! Gorgeous from every angle and side. The most beautiful I've ever received and have ever seen! Lasting many days and still takes my breath away!

I love this store. It's my "go-to" when I want something tasteful and elegant for myself or as a gift. Sometimes I ask for a custom arrangement simply because I love watching them create. They're almost magical with their talents.
Called from Texas to order a plant for a local memorial service and explained what I wanted and when I saw pictures of it, it exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful. Thank you!!!!
I have not received flowers from this business therefore I cannot review those. I did receive balloons as a birthday gift. Within two days they were deflated. The company was nice enough to have a new order sent out right away. Thank you. However, the very next day, some of the Mylar balloons were already deflated. Will continue using balloons from Giant in the future that last for over a month. I suppose flowers should only be ordered from here.

This is by far my favorite flower shop I've ever ordered from. I just ordered a custom arrangement over the phone and plan on picking it up in about 20 minutes. They will work within any budget and usually have in done in a half hour (I'm sure major holidays like Valentine's day require more time advance). They're also super helpful and happy to talk with you on the phone!
I would absolutely recommend Floral Designs of Mount Joy to anyone. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and they were so easy to work with. I never once had to worry about what Jill was doing and she explained everything to us. She is also incredibly knowledgeable about what flowers would look great together and had great ideas to make each floral arrangement special.
